Hilton Phuket celebrates 30 years of Hospitality and service

Phuket, Thailand – (December 8, 2017) – The 7th of September saw Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa celebrating 30 years of hospitality and service. The five-star full-service resort, located in the heart of Phuket’s coast - on the world’s famous golden sands Karon Beach, opened its door on the 7th of September 1987 as ‘Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa’, named by the current owners – Narukatpitchai Family. In 2003, the resort became a proud Hilton Brand.

This special occasion was commemorated with a Thai traditional morning merit making ceremony, paying respect to the Amarin Buddha and performing ‘food offering’ to 9 monks that were invited to lead the ceremony.

Team members were an integral part of the celebration. Activities arranged included an outing to the Phuket Waterpark, a flea market in the resort premises with live entertainment shows and activities, and a ‘30 Year of Hospitality’ pin was distributed to recognize all its team members.

The resort can proudly boast of 66 team members being a part of the resort for over 20 years and 229 members a part of the Hilton family for over 10 years out of a total 686 team members.
